Role: Creative Direction, Design and Production Design

The Atlantic convened community leaders, advocates, and local journalists to examine what the future of local news looks like, and the role the press plays in civic engagement.

My inspiration was pixelated, noisy imagery and playing with high contrast colors and shapes. Pairing these elements with more dynamic logotype helps to convey the idea of history with the retro colors and textures while using a modern font. The idea of mixing old and new felt aligned with the subject matter.

Design for Atlantic Events is highly conceptual and for this event I thought it would be fun to combine Tetris with imagery that symbolized the government as a way to show that Assembling an Administration is can be tricky and tumultuous.
